By age 30, in September 2017, I had accomplished a remarkable feat: selling over 300 homes. Today, that number has grown to nearly 700 homes, primarily driven by referrals, which constitute nearly 100% of my business. My real estate journey began in 2009 amidst a challenging market that was experiencing its lowest point ever. Despite facing rejection from multiple brokerages along State Street, I remained determined to learn the art of selling homes. Finally, a single brokerage agreed to take me under their wing, utilizing aggressive cold calling and door knocking strategies. We dedicated long hours to prospecting and meeting potential sellers, recognizing that success in real estate required far more than a 40-hour workweek. I committed to investing a minimum of 60 hours per week to excel during the recession. During those early days, I stumbled upon a remarkable opportunity. A family, burdened by financial losses, entrusted me, a 22-year-old with limited experience, to handle the short sale of their property. Despite the challenge, I embraced it wholeheartedly. Miraculously, within just 30 days, I completed the transaction, a feat that typically took months. This experience equipped me with a unique skill set and invaluable lessons, having started from scratch in a recession. In 2010, Re/Max recognized my potential and invited me to join their esteemed team. This marked a turning point in my career, exposing me to new levels of production and goals that I had never thought possible. Presently, I proudly rank among the top 10 agents in Utah County and the top 40 under 40 in the American region of Remax Agents.
